Hi! I'm Gala

& I help tired parents get the rest they deserve so they can thrive and enjoy parenthood.

Here is my story

My name is Gala. I was born and raised in France and moved to Canada to study at a university. I met my now-husband at University and moved back to his hometown with him. I am an engineer by trade, but I always felt that what fills my cup and brings me joy is to help others. I thought of going the healthcare route, but that wasn't for me. I am a type A, to-do lister and logical guru, so engineering makes sense, and I still work as a long-range planner full-time. Being a sleep consultant is a side job that fulfills me utterly.


My husband and I are proud parents of two amazing boys. My firstborn was a little unicorn baby. He was very active, a great sleeper, and, overall, an easy baby.


Our youngest is 18 months old and has kept us up for about nine months. We tried everything. I had a lot of sleep knowledge, but nothing worked. He was a screamer and would only take 20-minute naps unless he was on one of us. I felt like I could not achieve anything in the house, not even get a break for myself.


I was losing it, run down and now my whole family was suffering from it. My oldest was being woken up by his baby brother, my marriage was in shambles, and my mental health was not getting any better. I was diagnosed with Postpartum Depression at 3 months postpartum and was treated with therapy and medication. But nothing was getting any better, and I was resentful, tired, angry, etc.


Then I decided that that was it. I was a great mom for trying for so long, and now I needed someone whose job it was to help me figure out my kids' sleep. My husband and I hired a sleep consultant, our best investment ever. Our boy slept through the night on the 3rd night and was napping for at least 45 minutes by day 14. He now naps 2hrs and sleeps at least 11 hours at night. My family is thriving. My husband and I feel like we found each other again, and I have patience for both my children, allowing me to cherish those precious moments and create ever-lasting memories.


Sleep consulting saved us. I lived the darkest of days when the sleepless nights started to hurt my mental health as well as my relationship with my firstborn and my husband. This very feeling of getting our lives back and seeing my baby content is something I want every family to experience. Sleep is health. Regardless of age, it is at the core of our capacity to function. It allows us to perform, learn, play, regulate emotions, etc. I want to spread the feelings you get when your family is rested. I want to help and educate people and hear as many success stories as possible. My daughter is 2.5 years old, we started this sleep training with Adley waking up 1-3 times a night asking for milk. After working with Gala , and deciding what sleep training approach we wanted to do. Taking into consideration what we thought Adley would respond best with, we started. After 3 nights Adley was sleeping through the night, and she has been for the last two weeks. I was lucky that Adley had the basic concept of soothing herself to sleep, as she went to bed with no issues, but having Gala there to report back to the next day really helped me stick to my guns! Gala was very helpful, non-judgemental, and super supportive throughout the whole two weeks working together. I highly recommend Gala if you are wanting to better you and your child's sleep!!

Gala from start to finish was absolutely wonderful. We worked with Gala for both our 9 month old and our almost 7 year old so the process for both was very different but we had so much success in such a short period of time. Our 9 month old went from waking 3-4 times in a night to sleeping right through and our 7 year old went from stalling for hours at bedtime to completing his own bedtime routine and tucking himself in every night!
