I'm Gala

& I help tired parents get the rest they deserve.

​I am the lucky mom of two boys, 4 years and 18 months.


I am an engineer by trade, so I love to problem-solve, research, plan, organize, present data, and, most of all, see results.


I also have a passion for the perinatal world and believe that caring for moms, parents, and families during the challenging early years should be a non-negotiable. Nobody should be left alone and struggling. So, if I can have even a tiny impact, I want to be part of it.


Having children is the most beautiful gift but the biggest challenge you will ever face, so remember when you are having difficulties: "Sleep before you split."

Step 1

Pick a package

Pick a sleep package that feels like the right fit for you, your child and your goals.


Step 2

Fill out questionnaire

Shortly after your purchase I will send you an intake form to learn more about your child, your parenting phylosophie and your sleep goals.


Step 3

Assessment

I will review all the information provided and potentially ask you for more details in order to create the best approcahes for you and your family. No child or family is one size fits all and I want to create a sleep plan that is the perfect fit and solution.


Step 4

Let's chat and review

We will take up to one hour to review the sleep plan together. I will go over the steps and teach you all the tips, tricks, and nuances for successful sleep training. But most of all, I will be here to answer your questions and concerns before we start.


Step 5

Phone and Email Support

I will be here for you to guide you, support you and check on you every step of the way. I don't ever want you to feel alone in this process. I take pride in my one-on-one support because I understand how intense sleep training can be, regardless of the method used.


Step 6

Wrap up and Celebrate

We will celebrate the success along the way and even more at the end of our time together. We will have a 15-minute wrap-up call to make sure you have all the tools and your questions answered for what may be next: nap transition, travel, ditching the soother, going from crib to toddler bed, etc.

My daughter is 2.5 years old, we started this sleep training with Adley waking up 1-3 times a night asking for milk. After working with Gala , and deciding what sleep training approach we wanted to do. Taking into consideration what we thought Adley would respond best with, we started. After 3 nights Adley was sleeping through the night, and she has been for the last two weeks. I was lucky that Adley had the basic concept of soothing herself to sleep, as she went to bed with no issues, but having Gala there to report back to the next day really helped me stick to my guns! FAQs

Do I use Cry-it-out method?

The short answer is no. Unfortunately, Cry-it-out (CIO) is what most people think sleep training means. CIO is one type of training method, a successful one but not the one I like to use. However, crying is the children's way of communicating first and then their way of protesting change. I think that it is essential for me to be transparent and honest about the fact that there will be some tears, but I will never ask you to leave your child to cry alone for hours on end or to ignore the cries.

Do you guarantee results?

Since it is up to the parents to implement the plan and follow what I write or advise during our call, I cannot guarantee results. However, I can guarantee that I will provide all the tools and details you need, answer all your questions, and tell you what to do to be successful. I will 100% work with you to achieve your goal as long as you follow your plan as intended.

What's your refund policy?

Due to the custom nature of building a sleep package, I provide refunds only under minimal circumstances. Once the client has completed the intake and I have begun writing the custom sleep plan, no refund will be provided. If the client has not yet submitted the intake form, a refund minus the payment processing fees can be requested within 5 days of receiving the intake form. After 5 days since the intake form was sent to the client, no refund will be provided. Refund requests must be submitted in writing to themilkywaysleepco@gmail.com

Do I need to live in Canada to use your services?

Thanks to the online world, you do not! I can provide my services via Facetime, Google Meet, Zoom, WhatsApp, Phone, and Email. I am also bilingual and can help any French—or English-speaking family around the globe.
